"Are you sure
That we are awake?
It seems to me
That yet we sleep, we dream"

—William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream

The Fairytale Wedding of Clancy & Shannon

was like walking into a dream. A really good dream. The best dream. It was a dream full of magic and beautiful fairy princesses and dashing knights of the highest character, of true love and happily ever after. Love and laughter filled the day with such joy as could not be contained. Even all these months later as I reminisce about their day and look at their pictures, I can't help but smile. It was the best day surrounded by the best people and I am so glad to have been a part of it.

Clancy and Shannon were married on a sunny day in May at beautiful Armstrong Farms, surrounded by friends and family. Lush blooms and their floral perfume permeated the day, decorating the wedding with greens, purples, and pinks. Shannon was ethereal with her loose curls and a figure-hugging gown. Clancy was handsome in his navy suit. The two of them together were a stunning pair with laughter that was contagious. Their first look was one of the happiest to date, complete with excitement and joyous tears. From their first look, we proceeded to do family formals, wedding party formals, and then couples portraits by the hanging wisteria.

The ceremony was probably my favorite part of the day. I loved the personal vows that Shannon and Clancy shared, embuing the ceremony with emotion and poetry. Clancy even quoted Mr. Darcy in his vows when he said, "You have bewitched me body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. And wish from this day forth never to be parted from you." It was a beautiful ceremony.

I could say more about this wedding for it's one that will live fondly in my memories for a long time to come, but you come for the pictures and not my words. My words are fleeting and feeble, but a picture says a thousand words and 200 pictures is a novel. So here is the story of how Clancy and Shannon got their happily ever after.
