Jake came to me by recommendation of Ryan. You remember Ryan, he was the senior whose session I did a few months back on a farm with giant spiders. Well, Ryan and Jake are good friends and, after spending time with both young men, I can definitely picture them as buddies who grew up together.
Jake was a pleasure to work with. He was calm, serious, but very easy to make laugh, and a natural in front of the camera. It's pretty typical that I have to resort to shenanigans to make seniors laugh, but I'm not funny so it's great when I don't have to embarrass myself trying to be. Jake, between the serious smolders, gave me enough real smiles that I didn't have to be to goofy.
We did his session at Raccoon Creek State Park. The weather was perfect and the leaves were just starting to change. We visited Frankfort Mineral Springs as it is such a beautiful and unique spot in the Park. We also went to the beach, which I had never actually visited before this session. Through all of our adventuring around, Jake was in good spirits and vary patient while I set up lighting for the dark mineral springs.
Jake plays football, baseball, and basketball, with basketball being his favorite to play. His favorite subject is science. Outside of school and sports, he likes to play Fortnite on xbox, ride his quad, and hang with friends. He is inspired by LeBron James to work hard and achieve his goals. He plans to attend college after graduating and is considering Slippery Rock.
