Best of 2018

2018 Was an absolutely amazing year! I can't believe how much was packed into it. From traveling and sessions to wild and crazy adventures. Obviously I can't post every picture, but I can give a sort of highlight reel.

This year was scaled back on weddings. I had three weddings that I lead, and three that I second shot for. I feel extremely blessed to have been a part of each of these couples' weddings. The romances and weddings were all so different and beautiful. It's honestly so hard to pick favorites when I have hundreds of images from each wedding, so here are some of the ones I like best.

I got to work with some truly wonderful couples this year. Each session was unique in the weather, the lighting, and the location. I got to travel a bit more in order to do some of these sessions, from Ohiopyle, PA to Fairmont, WV. This year, my work is taking me to AZ and I'm so excited! I loved working with these couples. Here are some of my favorite pictures.

In 2018, senior sessions started to take off. I had 12 sessions, when in years past I usually had one or two and that was it. Things changed for the better and I got to work with some really great teens. I really enjoyed interviewing them and hearing all about their plans for the future.

The big surprise of 2018 was the amount of family and children sessions that I did. As someone who specializes in wedding and senior photography, it was a fun change to have so many families and children to work with. I definitely feel like this genre of photography challenged me to grow the most in 2018 and, for that, I'm extremely thankful.

I got to do some profile pictures for a few different professionals as well as a college reunion group session. And as Rich joined on as a photographer, I thought it was a good idea to update our profiles as well.

I did a few shoots just for fun, got the opportunity to go interview some teachers during the WV teacher strike, went to Haiti, and so much more. There are so many pictures that I love from 2018, but I can't post them here are a few random ones.

Dates are booking up for 2019, be sure to contact us to secure your session or wedding.
