Cyn Davis Photography specializes in vibrant photojournalistic style wedding photography.
Our purpose and statement is to create vibrant stories of love. That means providing an experience that places emphasis on emotion. We accomplish this through the use of prompts during the portrait session and by focusing on the relationship and love of the couple. We find that beauty is found in genuine emotion and genuine moments. Cyn Davis Photography treats every client like a friend. We're there by your side to assist when boutonnieres need pinned; to encourage when the bride gets nervous; and to document the moments, the guests, the celebration, and the love.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
We are lovers of travel and adventure and have valid passports. At this time, we only open our calendar to 3 destination weddings a year.
Do you charge extra for travel?
Travel within a 100 mile radius of Steubenville, OH is included. If your wedding or engagement session takes place outside of that range, additional travel charges apply.
Will there be a second shooter?
Coverage by a second shooter is included with the Dream Wedding and Fairytale Wedding. However, a second shooter can be added for $500 to smaller wedding packages.
Can I extend the session the day of?
Of course! Our a la carte hourly rate is $350.
Do I have to order prints through you?
While we always advise that you order your prints through our professional lab, we do provide the print release so that you can have prints made elsewhere. However, we cannot take responsibility for the quality of prints made through outside print services.
Can I customize my package?
Absolutely! If you need more or less hours, we can create a package that fits your unique needs. You can even upgrade your package by adding on additional time, sessions, or products. We offer a wide variety of prints and albums by WHCC.
Are you insured?
Yes! As a registered, tax-paying business, we carry insurance through Hill & Usher.
How soon in advance should I book?
Most brides book approximately 6 to 12 months in advance, some book as early as 2 years out. If you want to guarantee that we're available for your wedding date, we recommend booking as soon as possible.
Can I book without a date?
Absolutely! We will work with you and the venue to pick a date that works for everyone.
I'm ready to book, what's the next step?
After you've decided that you want to hire us to photograph your wedding, you will need to sign a contract and pay a retainer of $1000. We can meet in person for this or we can send you the documents via e-mail.
