Cyn Davis Photography specializes in romantic, colorful wedding photography.
Our purpose and mission statement is to tell your fairytale beautifully and timelessly. Your wedding photos will stand the test of time, not only because of our experience, but also because of you. We providing an experience that places emphasis on emotion and moments and making sure you have a wonderful time. We accomplish this through the use of prompts during the portrait session and by focusing on the relationship and love of the couple. We find that beauty is found in genuine emotion and genuine moments. You'll love your photographs not only because you look amazing, but also--and more importantly--because you felt amazing while working with us.
Cyn Davis Photography treats every client like a friend. We're there by your side to assist when boutonnieres need pinned; to encourage when the bride gets nervous; and to document the moments, the guests, the celebration, and the love.
Minimum of 4 hours of coverage by 1 photographer for small weddings or elopements. Includes online gallery, edited digitals, and print release. Customizable to fit your needs.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
We are lovers of travel and adventure and have valid passports. At this time, we only open our calendar to 3 destination weddings a year.
Do you charge extra for travel?
Travel within a 100 mile radius of Steubenville, OH is included. If your wedding or engagement session takes place outside of that range, additional travel charges apply.
Will there be a second shooter?
Coverage by a second shooter is included with the Fairytale and Legend Collections. However, a second shooter can be added for $500 to smaller wedding collections.
Can I customize my package?
Absolutely! If you need more or less hours, we can create a package that fits your unique needs. You can even upgrade your package by adding on additional time, sessions, or products. We offer a wide variety of prints and albums by WHCC.
Are you insured?
Yes! As a registered, tax-paying business, we carry insurance through Hill & Usher.
How soon in advance should I book?
Most couples planning big weddings book approximately 6 to 12 months in advance, some book as early as 2 years out. If you want to guarantee that we're available for your big wedding, we recommend booking as soon as possible. Elopements tend to be more flexible with dates, however we still ask you contact as soon as possible to start planning your elopement with us.
Can I extend the session the day of?
Of course! Our a la carte hourly rate is $375.
Can I book without a date?
Absolutely! We will work with you and the venue to pick a date that works for everyone.
Do I have to order prints through you?
While we always advise that you order your prints through our professional lab, we do provide the print release so that you can have prints made elsewhere. However, we cannot take responsibility for the quality of prints made through outside print services.
I'm ready to book, what's the next step?
After you've decided that you want to hire us to photograph your wedding, you will need to sign a contract and pay a retainer of 30% the package total. We can meet in person for this or we can send you the documents via e-mail.
